here we are, just a few weeks away from 1 year old! how does it all go by so quickly?! here's what davis is up to this month...
- has had his first major sickness....an upper respitory infection right before thanksgiving turned into a "borderline" ear infection, according to the dr. thankfully, we caught it early, and he is taking amoxicillian, along with using a humidifier, vicks, and sucking his nose out like crazy...
- twists his pacis around in his mouth, even though they are the same no matter which way you turn them
- rode a horse for the first time on thanksgiving
- visited tampa for the first time the weekend before thanksgiving
- we enjoyed a week of snuggling when i was out for our break last week
- his two top teeth have both come in within the last 3 weeks
- when he poots, he laughs at himself, like a true man :)
- is doing pretty good with finger foods, but still prefers for us to feed him, most of the time
- tried and LOVED cake for the first time, today at his 1 year pictures
- went to the japanese steakhouse for grammy's 50th birthday and ate rice, veggies, noodles & chicken
- went to canton's jingle bell shop & met santa...he was not a fan
- is an explorer...prefers going all over the house to playing with his toys
- likes to open the kitchen cabinets and pull things out
- laughs when i smell his feet and act like they are stinky
- says "hey", "dada", and sometimes "mama", also says a word that we know means "mattie"
- loves to watch videos or look at pictures of himself
- cruises all around the furniture and will stand by himself sometimes for 5-10 seconds
- hates getting his diaper or clothes changed
- doesn't like to wear hats
- falls backwards when he gets mad
- likes to pound his fists on the table
- still gives sweet kisses and has finally given adam kisses, too
- loves when daddy throws him in the air
- plays peek a boo on his own by hiding behind the edge of furniture or behind a toy
- likes to clap his hands
- if he sees someone eating food, he wants some and will whine
- likes to drink water
- loves to crawl up and down our long hallway
- likes to stand up at our bathtub and turn on the water
- LOVES to read books...with us and on his own...makes mama's heart so happy!
- watches football games on tv
- goes for mattie's food dish at least a half a dozen times a day
- likes to play with trucks and things that roll
can't wait to share pictures and stories from davis' first birthday party...it's gonna be a wild west roundup for everyone at the moss ranch! :)
