well, life has been busy lately, so rather than try to type it all out, i am just going to post some pictures of our recent happenings.
adam's steak, chicken, and bacon-wrapped deer meat kabobs that he cooked last week. we also put peppers, onions, and squash on them. they were yummy!
adam's 27th birthday was last wednesday. we had cake and ice cream with family at our house. he got a minn kota, aka "mini tonka" as i call it, trolling motor for his boat, bullits, and some cold hard cash. oh, and a homemade red velvet cake from his wifey. it was good, but still does not hold a candle to his grandmama's.
the moss'. :)
so, with all the fresh tomatoes that we have been getting from my mama and mark, adam's dad, and my granny and poppy, i decided that i wanted to make bruschetta. it took me a few weeks to get around to it, but when i did, it was wonderful! so fresh and tasty. i made it again two nights later. :)
on a very serious note, please keep adam's grandmama in your prayers. she was diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks ago and starts her first round of radiation this week. she is a sweet, sweet lady and the best red velvet cake maker around. :) grandmama is having such a positive attitude about everything, which is an inspiration to me. i love this picture of her and adam from our wedding.
